Saltara, Italy
In November 2013 all partners taking part in One Europe Many Cultures met in Italy to undertake the first stages of our project. This was hosted by the Italian school, Istituto Comprensivo "G. Leopardi" Calcinelli.
Below are a variety of photos from our time in Italy.
England March 2014
This was our second project meeting where we all met together to discuss how our project is progressing.
During the visit, we spent time at Oakhurst Community Primary School, to meet the children in Swindon taking part in the project. We went to the Univeristy of the West of England (UWE) to see how graduates in the UK are trained for a career in teaching. As a group we went to visit another brand new school built in Bristol and the headteacher kindly gave us a guided tour and shared her visions for the school. The Mayor of Swindon met with us and gave us badges representing Swindon. Some older children at Oakhurst also took part in the Swindon Junior Music Festival and we went along to watch them perform!

Spain May 2014.
In May France, England and Italy travelled to El Puerto de Santa Maria to visit Pinar Hondo Infant and Primary School in Spain.
During the visit we were welcomed with fantastic performances by the pupils in the school with a variety of singing, dancing and lip syncing. We met all the children in the school and we given a tour around the school by the older children. It was wonderful to see displays that represented all of the countries in the project.
We were very lucky to visit a local high school where we were greeted by the headteacher and had a tour. We saw the great facilities pupils had and were treated by watching a movie created by some students.
We had guided tours around El Puerto and Cadiz to further our understanding of these wonderful locations where pupils come from. We went to the town hall and met the Mayor of El Puerto. We were lucky enough to be in El Puerto whilst the Feria was on where we saw some amazing flamenco dancing!
France - 8th - 13th November 2014
In November all partner schools travelled to France to visit Ecole élémentaire Marcel Pagnol in Vouneuil-sur-Vienne, France.
